While most musicians leave home for Nashville to begin their career, Dennis Edwards is an anomally - he was born in Music City, USA. In addition to Country studio and live dates, Dennis also plays R&B/Motown, and Jazz. These days, much of his time is spent with Lady Antebellum (Capitol Records), one of the hottest new acts on the country scene today.
We met Dennis through long-term endorser Roy Vogt, who mentored Dennis when he attended Belmont University. "Dennis is a very gifted musician," says Vogt. "He's also a consumate pro that anyone would be pleased to have in their band." Evidently Nashville agrees, as Dennis has worked with a long list of artists, including Linda Davis, Mindy Smith, Tyler Hilton, Chris Young, Ashley Ray, Josh Turner, Lauren Lucas, Trent Tomlinson and Shooter Jennings.
Dennis will be traveling throughout the US with Lady Antebellum, as they continue their assault on the charts. "I'm really excited to be playing with them," Dennis says. "The band is great, and we're getting very good support from the label and management. It's a wonderful opportunity."
An Eden player since high school - who has never used another amp in his professional career - Dennis uses our WT800 and D-410XLT for most shows. He also has a WT-300 and CXC-110 for work around Nashville. "Eden is literally the best sounding bass amp I've ever heard," he says. "I can't imagine using anything else. Ever."
