While singing in a musical at the age of 6, Justin Fish discovered his passion for music-a passion that would be with him for life. Growing up in the small town of Ashland, Oregon, Fish found himself picking up whatever instrument he could get his hands on and teaching himself to play it.

After being roped into playing the bass for a friend about 2 years ago, Fish says, "Music was never something I thought I would be doing at this level! I went from firefighting and saving lives to playing for crowds of over 50,000 people in less than 2 years. Once I picked up the bass I was hooked! I don't know how I ever lived without." "There was always something special about music. It just made sense and it was always an outlet for me...a way to escape," says Fish as he finished tracking with engineer Jim Watts and producer Jeffery David.

Fish has traveled all over the U.S. playing gigs and has also played shows in Grenada and Puerto Rico, with various artists such as Paul Wright, Logan Martin, Rootdown, Issakar, world-renowned drummer Julio Figueroa, and bassist Melvin Lee Davis. Fish's influences include James Jamerson, Pino Palladino, Jaco Pastorious, Walt Smith and John Mays. He says, "For me the influence goes beyond the player, and into the heart. It takes more than skill to make your music come alive and reach someone."

Fish uses our WT800 amplifier to power his two D410XST cabinets. "Eden products are the best in the world! No matter what type of venue or type of music I play, I will always get the smooth depth and clarity I need. They are in a class of their own and I won't play a show without an Eden!"
